A east-bound pickup truck on I-94 hydroplaned during the heavy rain Monday morning, left the roadway, crossed the median and tangled with five east-bound vehicles.
According to United Fire and Rescue Baldwin Station Chief Gary Newton, the accident happened at milepost 16 near the Hamond exit. He said the out-of-control pickup tangled with a semi-truck and four other vehicles.
Newton said it appeared that all injuries were minor.
In an unrelated mishap last Thursday, the Woodville Station was called to a car fire on County Road D north of Woodville. The car was a total loss.
